I have severe arthritis that requires icing several times a day. In the past, this meant juggling ice packs and lying as still as possible so they didn't fall off. I could do NOTHING to move the joint and try to help myself. This made all the difference in the world. First, it supports that knee. Also, it holds the ice packs precisely where they belong, even including coverage for the meniscus. I am able to sit at my desk, to walk around, to do what I need to do without losing a minute of time when I'm supposed to be icing. I truly don't know how I ever coped without it. Both knees are involved, and it is great to be able to reverse the product for use on the other knee, though I intend to buy a second one shortly. Finally, I am not a small woman. I feared this would not fit me, since so many one size fits all things do not. But this fits me fine with lots of room to spare. I trust the maker of this product and will return for more.

This cold compressions leeve is absolutely amazing. First off the sleeve is flexible right from the freezer so there is no problem slipping them into the individual sleeves on the wrap and then they form to the shape of your knee cap to provide amazing overall coverage. The ice pack that is in the strap on the back side of your knee allows for wonderful icing on the back of the knee at the same time it covers the front which is something I have never been able to achieve with the ice cubs in the ziploc bag in the past. I would say the ice packs are still plenty cold after 25 minutes which is more than enough time to get a good cool off. Secondly I am a 6' 2" male weighing 225 lbs and I was concerned about the "one size fits all" as nothing like that usually fits for me but there was more than enough room in the wrap with the design of the velcro straps. I was even able to have on a pair of pajama pants and it still fit (the pants were nice as the bags are really cold even with the pants on). I did buy an extra pack of three ice packs to have as backup but so far have not had to use them. I have not tried to walk with the wrap on and don't think that I ever will because I like to sit and after 20 minutes it delivers an amazing cool down. Hands down this is an incredible product at a price that seems to good to be true. Stop reading about it and buy one now, you will be glad you did.

These are very nice knee cold compression wraps. They encircle the front, side, and rear of the knee fully to keep the entire knee cold. They are very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. Velcro fasteners are high quality and adhere anywhere to adjust the fit perfectly. I've got bursitis from overtraining in MMA and running to the point I've had to take weeks off to recover. I could not bend my knees or walk any longer without pain from the swelling. These cold compression wraps are exactly what I needed for faster recovery.

This is a really good ice wrap. The design of the wrap is great in that it fits snug and gets the ice to where it needs to be without you adjusting all time as with ice packs. My advice to use this wrap for total knee replacement is to first of all buy two of them. You will need two wraps so that whenever you need the ice, it will be ready for you. As the directions say, you do need two hours of the gel packs to ice over. This is really a great system to ice the knee and I am really glad I bought them.

Tried 3 different knee ice packs for extreme knee and leg pain and this is by far the best. Unique wrap around design covers back and front of knee. It stays up and in place. Gel pads very soft and flexible. Does not feel bulky but comfortable. Retains cold well. Did not yet try the heat. It is difficult to choose an ice pack for the knee / leg and is really a matter of hit or miss since they mostly look the same.

I just recently had a heavy log land on my leg just below my knee cap. It swelled so much it constricted my walking. This ice pack has brought me so much relief after knee replacement surgery. It easily molds to your body straight from the freezer. You can use the lined or unlined side depending upon whether you have another layer of clothing underneath it or not. The velcro straps hold it in place, which comes in handy if you're using it while elevating your leg. This seems to be the "ice pack" I reach for first. This is definitely a good buy!

I was looking for a cold pack that would wrap around the knee easily, and yet not get stinging cold. The inside of this pack has a soft surface which keeps my knee from getting a cold burn. This is a really great pack what wraps fully around the knee and the velcro straps are very study. The filling is also soft enough when first taken out of the freezer so will form more easily to the knee without hurting where the incisions are with the hard cold. LOVE IT and been using this multiple times per day. Even my PT thought this was probably a better product than the ice bags they give you.

I have had a long history of knee surgery & intermittent knee pain. I have also spent years icing my knee. This product is the best, because it is comfortable for my bigger thigh and the position of the 3 ice packs/pouches targets all areas of your knee. I use the wrap so two of ice packs are on/above & below my patella/knee cap, and the 3rd pack goes around the medial/inside of my knee toward the back of my knee. No need to reposition the ice, just wrap and elevate. Nice that the wrap is comfortable and stays in place. This wrap makes icing your knee much less of a dread and hassle. Love it!

I have severe arthritis in my right knee as well as a small Baker�s cyst! This week I was in a great deal of pain and I started icing with the Vive ice pack wrap. It was great and comfortable! There are three artic inserts which are flexible and remain cold and flat. The wrap literally goes around your entire knee so the Baker�s cyst as well as the arthritis on my outer side of my right knee both got the effects of the ice pack. Since they recommend the ice packs remain in the freezer for two hours, I purchased extra pacs so I always had cold pacs available. The wrap stays where you put it and the protection of the wrap keeps your leg cold yet protected from the cold. I highly recommend this ice wrap!

Purchased two since I have osteoarthritis that flairs up in both of my knees [retired RN after 40 years on my feet]. I love the fact it wraps around the entire knee, which helps my knee OA AND the Baker's cysts that form behind my knees because of it. The icepacks last as long as they should [20-minutes per medical recommendation... otherwise they'd do more damage than good]. I find that putting the entire brace with ice packs in place into a large Hefty bag and freezing them that way works the best for me, so I don't have to remove the icepacks and reinsert them every time I use them. The icepacks themselves are beautifully encased in an envelop sort of design that keeps you skin away from the icepack itself. I did purchase extra icepack inserts for if/when the originals fail. These wraps are definitely not designed to walk around in, but it's my experience that when you apply icepack wraps you should rest with legs elevated, so it's not an issue as far as ambulation goes

My only negative would be that it doesn�t stay cold long enough- It is exactly as advertised, 10 minutes, but I wish it cooled more and longer- Don�t get me wrong, I still love it and ordered two more. This is a pretty nice wrap. It has some great features to recommend it. It�s very easy to put on and extremely comfortable to wear. It gives you cold on both the front and back of the knee, which is something you don�t find in most knee wraps. It is also extremely well made. The material and stitching are both top grade, and the gel packs are easy to remove, although the good news is you don�t have to remove them at all. It�s fairly easy to just fold the whole thing up and freeze it. This is a big advantage because it puts less wear and tear on the gel packs, which, in other wraps I have used, are prone to start leaking after a lot of handling. The only modest criticism I have is that it doesn�t stay cold long enough to suit me, but I�m probably being pretty picky here. It does stay cold long enough to give some good, solid relief, and it stays cold as long as or longer than any of the myriad other wraps I have tried. All in all, I have to give this wrap 5 stars. I have tried a ton of different wraps and icing contraptions on my knee, and this one is right there at the top of the class. I wish I had bought it before the collection of crappy wraps I have collected.

I was intrigued from the start by this product, it was new to me and it was different to the dozens of knee guards, straps and protectors that I had used for what seems like forever. Since beginning to wear the Coccoons, I have found that my pain level has in fact decreased significantly after wearing them pretty much 24/7, though I can't say it has receded completely but having more manageable pain is better than not being able to do anything about it at all, except to take a multitude of pills, lotions and potions to calm and dull the respective joints. The only downside was the amount of time it took the Australian delivery arm to get it to my door, especially after the 5 days duration to arrive from overseas after ordering. So 12 days awaiting delivery after it arrived on our shores is realistically not acceptable and if it wasn't for this poor performance from the courier, my glowing report would be even more sparkling. However, i reiterate that I'm extremely pleased with the product though and I recommend the considerable outlay it takes to purchase one, or even two pairs of Coccoons to alleviate pain that has been dealt with for as long as I can remember. Thumbs up from me!
