Combat for Fitness of "Louis Paige"

Hello! Please introduce yourself, who are you and what sports/fitness routine do you play?

My story is fairly unique. I am the type of person who always gives a helping hand. If I have it, you’ll have it too! 

For me, how I started personal training is when I hurt my back while working a pretty much hard labor job. I was on leave for a couple of months due to my back injury, so I started doing a lot of therapy to try to get my back stronger. I did a lot of studying on the types of good exercises and the stretches I need to get my back stronger, flexible and to keep from injury ever again. To look at all the different exercises we can do other than the basic bench presses and squats becomes an addiction to me. That’s what pushes me to start looking into personal training. It’s also because I love to learn but also love to teach! I love helping people accomplish their goals mentally and physically, which pushes me to find my passion in helping and pushing others mentally and physically to accomplish their goals. For almost three years now, I am still training and loving it! My ultimate goal is to own a gym here soon for others like me to accomplish and pursue their dreams of helping others.

How do you get ready to train for your sport/how do you train?

Basically how I train is I go to the gym 6 days a week and try to do each body part twice a week.


After a workout/game, how do you recover your body? What do you do to get your body in shape? What type of diet do you eat?

So after workouts I do a 30 minutes stretch. Then on Sundays, I do yoga.


How do you prevent injuries when you’re training? What type of stretches do you normally do? What’s your routine looking like?

Basically for me it's the normal basic stretches if I'm not watching something on YouTube.


If there was someone wanting to get to your level, what type of advice would you give them?

My business and brand is Clash of Fitness! I’m a personal trainer! I think what sets me apart from others is my personality. I treat everyone like they are family. We laugh and joke together all the time. But we know when it's time to push! I also try to be a consultant to some of my clients and try to give them good advice on different things in life to help them mentally and physically!

The training that I feel sets me apart is I try to clash a lot of different fitness aspects into training which is why my brand is called Clash of Fitness. One day we might do the weight training, then the next day we do some cross fit stuff, and another day we do track and football drills lol. So basically my biggest attribute is having a great relationship with each and one of my clients.

How do you structure your day now? What projects are you busy with?

Right now I'm working on getting my online training going. Also building my brand as far as clothes and getting a gym.

How has your journey on social media been like? Future plans?

The journey online keeps you very busy with posting and showing support to your counter parts
