Ultimate Guide to Fitness of "Ashten Buck"
Ashten Buck is a previous gold-winning competitive bodybuilder. But then, she has decided to give up the sport for something that's a little more... slow. She realized that the prep work of the sport was putting a lot of stress on her body. The overtraining and undereating were causing her hormonal imbalances and chronically elevated cortisol. Over the last few years, she has been incorporating Pilates and HIIT training throughout the week. Slowing down with pilates did not overstimulate her nervous system, and the HIIT training keeps her blood sugars regulated for the week. Even though she doesn't physically feel like she's pushing herself to the limit, her body composition is the best it has been since her competitions.
She is a Naturopathic Medical Student and her daily life is very busy. She has 11-course semesters with practicals. Aside from school, she also works for Healthy Planet, doing product education and creating educational content for their social media. Pilates has become a saving grace for her because she can do them from the comfort of her own home and choose the length/intensity of her workout. In her downtime, she likes to spend it with her partner and her dog Maverick. They usually go hiking, camping, or just hang out at home and do absolutely nothing. -
Sweating Truth of "Alyssa Lombardi"
Alyssa Lombardi is a Certified Running Coach, Certified Personal Trainer, and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. She has been involved in sports all her life and has been at every level from beginner to college stand out and conference champion and this is how she did it. She started out playing soccer as a young child and loved it but found herself loving the running part of it the most. When she got to high school, she did both soccer and track but had a clear love for running. Even though she had a love for running, she wasn’t always the best. She started out running 2-3 miles at a time around 12 minutes per mile during practice, but she always raced pretty fast. She got down to running 5:15 for the mile and under 19 for a 5k.
She then decided to quit soccer and just focus on running so that is what she did. She got to college and she focused only on running. She started out her freshmen year one of the slowest ones on the team, barely being able to keep up with the team on practice runs.
Social media started as her own journal. For the first 2 years, she didn’t tell anyone she had a fitness profile. She felt a little embarrassed by it. But, as time went on, she saw she was connecting with more people so she thought of using her growing platform to help people just like she wanted to from the beginning.
From then, she started posting more educational posts. She has found that many people have learned a lot from her posts so her small social media page that she was keeping a secret has turned into a page where she helps runners succeed and hit goals they never thought they would. -

Fitness for Everyday of "Sarah Bainwohl"
Sarah Bainwohl is a spin instructor at a studio called Hustl and Flow. She is obsessed with her job there (in a good way!). Instructing changed her life.
When she was a kid, she used to be super shy and reserved. Her parents made her try every sport out there and every single time, she lasted about one week and then would come home crying saying how much she hated it. Until she started synchronized swimming. One coach saw potential in her and moved her to a competitive-level team. She stayed in the sport for 10 years, winning both provincial and national titles. Swimming became her life and loved every part of it.
When she was about 17 years old, she realized she didn’t love it quite as much as she once had. So, she quits. After years, she had the opportunity to try out for Hustl and Flow. She finally became an instructor and her life changed. She started walking more confidently, talking and thinking more positively, and of course, the way she looked changed.
About 6 months into instructing, she had a really amazing opportunity come her way. A spin studio in Australia reached out to her and wanted to fly her out to live and teach there for one year. Unfortunately, exactly one week before she was supposed to leave, she slipped and broke her arm. The Australia offer was instantly taken away, and not only that, she could not instruct either.
While she was heartbroken at first, she's the type of person to make the most of a situation. She realized this is the universe’s way of telling her to take a step back and give her body what it really needs in a healthy way and started researching how to properly care of her body, how to properly weight train, and how to fuel her body properly. She went back to teaching, but only twice a week.
Teaching spin has taught her discipline and how to properly take care of herself and could not imagine her life without it.

Sergio Bueno's Soul of Vigor
Sergio Bueno is a sportsman dedicated to transmitting emotions, news, updates and many more things to fans, and of course, a sports passion and a life dreamer. Since he became a sports fan, soccer has been his life and every single day he tried to live the Atlético de Madrid as a way of his life, which consists of “Nunca dejes de creer” (“Never stop believing”).
He tried to become a professional soccer player his whole life and achieved it at the age of 17-18, not at the stage that he dreamed of (first division). For him, at least he got into it at the third division.
Then, life guided him to his dream job: becoming a journalist, hosting a tv sports show, being at soccer stadiums as a field reporter, commenting on many sports events and so many other experiences that he enjoys doing for the people that join his channels at Claro. This came during his college career at the Anáhuac University, at México City.
He's working every day to improve and to be better day by day. He's aiming to go to the Qatar 2022 World Cup (which is next year) and preparing for that. He's anxious and looking forward to the next Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, so he has to focus on his day by day to keep learning, improving, and keep growing as a person and as a professional in the media industry where he is.

Cycle Wheels of "Maddy Black"
Maddy Black is a personal trainer and a cyclist in Abu Dhabi. She played competitive sports her entire life, starting with 10 years of gymnastics. This set her up well for a wide range of sports, and led her into the world of CrossFit, where she then transitioned into Olympic Weightlifting. Through weightlifting, she reached her lifetime goal of representing her country, Australia. She then moved to the UAE 3 years ago for an opportunity to coach CrossFit, and like many people, Corona lockdowns forced her out of the gym and into the outdoors. This is where her cycling journey began. Now, she competes in professional races around the UAE and focuses all of her time and energy on the sport of cycling.
She had a very exciting couple of months, launching her online business Sundaze Coffee. This is now her main focus alongside training herself and others. She wanted to create a brand that aligned her values of travel, and adventure with high-quality coffee, and she always had a dream of owning a business.
She's selling premium specialty coffee drip bags across the UAE and hoping soon to sell to the rest of the world! This keeps her mind busy and gives her something to work on outside of being in the gym or on the track all the time.

The Running Zone of "Erica Leota"
Erica Leota is into long-distance running. But instead of road running, she runs on the trails, and in the mountains. She loves to be surrounded by nature and feel the dirt crunch underneath her feet alongside her own private sympathy of birds singing. Running from 5km to 100km is her joy!
She first started running by running light post to light post in her local street and eventually, the way she ran made her feel so good. From there, she started running longer and longer. She's a mid-pack runner. She managed a few podiums in races in 50, 75, and 100kms where the playing field is thin but her determination to keep going gets her to the finish line.
She's addicted to running but she had a few health issues this year and with the current world status, she is contented in taking a step back and enjoying taking it easy. According to her, she’ll keep running but she won’t be racing. Instead, she's volunteering at events and giving back to the running community. For her, volunteering is just as rewarding as running and it comes without all the aching legs and prep involved.

Life Fitness and Health of a Croatian Trainer "LEA RADOJICIC"
Lea Radojicic is a 32-year-old Croatian living and working in Dubai as a personal trainer. She is qualified for pre and post natal training and find helping women better themselves physically and mentally to be one of the most rewarding perks of my job. Her passion for sport started at a very early age. As a 5 year old, she was already training in gymnastics and tennis. But, both were not something she found herself in. When she started training volleyball, that was it for her. She trained volleyball professionally for years back home, playing the middle hitter position. After volleyball, she trained rowing as well, and got a couple of medals too. She found rowing to be one of the hardest sports she has ever tried, but it was a great intro for her weightlifting. Her days in the week are split into muscle groups, each day for a certain muscle. Plus, she does a lot of cardio every day, mostly walking or cycling.
As a personal trainer, her schedule is crazy. She works Sundays to Thursdays with her clients and is off on weekends, but she always ended up working anyways, on personal projects (creating new workout programs, filming workouts and new content for social media…). According to her "We all have time, it is just important to prepare and put some effort in".

Combat for Fitness of "Louis Paige"
Louis Paige is the type of person who always gives a helping hand to everyone.
He started his training when he hurt his back while he's working a pretty much hard labor job. He was on leave for a couple of months due to his back injury and started doing a lot of therapy to get back on track. He did a lot of studying on the types of good exercises and the stretches he needs to get his back stronger, flexible and to avoid injury ever again. The different exercises other than the basic bench presses and squats become an addiction to him.
He loves to learn but also loves to teach! He loves helping people accomplish their goals mentally and physically, which pushes him to find his passion in helping and pushing others mentally and physically to accomplish their goals.
His ultimate goal is to own a gym soon, for others like him to accomplish and pursue their dreams of helping others. At the moment, he's working on getting his online training going, building his brand of clothes, and getting his own gym.
